In the previous week, Xiaomi had rolled out MIUI 10 beta version 8.11.15 which apparently is aimed to solve lots of issues for devices in India. With that, Xiaomi also announced an official changelog that mentioned important details with regards to new Android 9 pie update on its two smartphones.
Out of the two devices, Redmi 5 was the one to get an update of Android 8.1 Oreo and the MIUI 10 beta 8.11.15 changelog also mentions that this week, an update to Android 9 Pie will be made available for those using the Mi Max 3.

The Mi Max 3 was launched back in July of 2018 and the phone sports an immersive 6.9-inch screen display having a resolution of 1080 x 2160. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 and is backed with a 4GB RAM. Besides that, the phones consists of 64GB internal memory storage which, of course, is extendible to 256GB via usage of microSD card. Speaking of the phone’s camera, it comes with a decent 12MP+ 5MP rear camera and at the front, it carries an 8MP selfie shooter.
The Mi Max 3 is juiced by a hefty 5500mAh battery which is assisted by fast battery charging (Quick Charge 3.0).
The Mi Max 3 phablet users will soon be able to update their devices with a new MIUI 10 skin of 8.11.22 version and the instructions on how to install the new update willl be released soon.
