Moto Z4 to Pack a Flagship Snapdragon 8150 CPU

Motorola Razr

We believe it’s fair to say that Moto’s Z3 “flagship” phone launched back in August did not do as well as expected. While the handset came with Moto’s unique design and the possibility to add Moto Mods, which included a 5G module add-on by the way, the hardware that came along with it wasn’t that exciting.

The Moto Z3 did indeed launch with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 that, albeit being still a great CPU for 2018, wasn’t as good as the newer SD 845, which is something you want on your brand new device.

Well, that’s expected to change next year according to the latest reports. Moto is now apparently working to bring the upcoming Snapdragon 8150 set to be unveiled next month, to their 2019 flagship – the Moto Z4.

Other specs we are most likely going to find on the Moto Z4 will include at least 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and even an under display fingerprint scanner as rumors suggest the company is developing software to make that work.

As of today, all we know about the handset is its code name – Odin – and that it’ll only launch in North America, just like the Z3 released a couple months back.

Should have gone for the 845 or a lesser price with an 835. They were banking on the Moto brand but it’s really a Lenovo.
