Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro sells over 600,000 units in its first flash sale in India

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 6 pro which was released yesterday in India has already sold 6 lakhs (1 Indian lakh translates to 100,000 ) unit in just few minutes on its very first day, the company claims. The phone price starts at Rs 13,999 but for a limited time period the company has decided to sell the phone at Rs 12,999 on Flipkart and Mi online/ offline stores.

Today was the phone’s first sale starting first from 12 PM, 3 PM  both of which went out of stock quickly. There was another sale later at 6 pm and 9 pm scheduled as well. There are other offers on the phone including exclusive discount of Rs 500 if you hold a HDFC credit and debit cards. Moreover, Jio offers you Rs 2,400 cashback offer with 6TB of additional data.

To recall, Redmi Note 6 pro boasts a 6.28-inch Full HD+ screen with a notch and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC and is backed by a 6GB of RAM with an internal storage capacity of 64GB. The phone comes preloaded with Android 8.1 Oreo. Furthermore, it sports a dual rear camera of 12MP + 5MP and at front it has a 20MP selfie shooter with a 2MP depth sensor.

Speaking of its connectivity options, it features dual-SIM, Bluetooth v5.0, 4G VoLTE, and Wi-Fi. On the rear, it has a rear mounted fingerprint scanner and a decent 4000 mAh battery to juice it up.
