The stunning Samsung Galaxy S9 Polaris Blue color was launched initially as Ice Blue in China and South Korea. While some of Occidental customers got their hearts stolen by the beautiful color variant, Samsung didn’t disclose any plans for the release of this new color there. Now seems that the Polaris Blue will arrive in Europe, after all.
The South Korean manufacturer announced that Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus will both be available in the Polaris Blue color in early December. The new color will initially be released in Germany, but its availability should be expanded through other Europeans markets during the month of December.
Both the Polaris Blue and Ice Blue variants sport the same stunning blue-to-white gradient finish, with the only difference between the European and Asian model being the storage amount. The Ice Blue variant is available with 128GB of Internal Storage, while the press release of Polaris Blue indicates that the model available will count with 64GB of storage.
Gizchina News of the week
After some conservative colors in industry, seems that companies are finally starting to experiment something new. Worth noting that when Huawei debuted the Gradient finish back with the Huawei P20 Pro Twilight variant, seems that other companies decided to follow the Chinese with their own iterations of gradient finish. The Galaxy S10 is said to be released in many gradient finishes at launch.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ Polaris Blue variant will hit the shelves in Germany on early December, with the $963 and $1076 price tags respectively. Currently, there’s no info indicating that this new color variant will also hit the US market.
