OnePlus kicks off new closed beta program for the OnePlus 6T

It has been almost a month since OnePlus launched its flagship killer OnePlus 6T. Now the company has revealed that it will roll out a beta program specifically for OnePlus 6T device. However one should not get very excited because the beta program will be limited to 100 people only.

This is not the first time company has decided to introduce OnePlus beta program because it has previously done that with the OnePlus 6 as well.

This upcoming beta program is named as ‘closed beta program’ with the name itself suggesting it will be restricted to some OnePlus 6T users. The company will allow some users to fidget with the new program before some time until they decide to roll out globally.

Digging more on the closed beta program, the company says in order to use this program one should sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with OnePlus. On top of that the user must be an active member of OnePlus community which will help the company to get know about feedback.

Some few instructions that OnePlus 6T users can follow if they wish to get into this beta program is that one will need to flash their device as soon as the program initiates and sometimes it will require a clean flash which means your data will be deleted, so first thing you should do is take a back up. Furthermore, while testing the software one may face lots of annoyance with the bugs so it is suggested to have another smartphone just as a backup for worst case scenarios.
