Back in June, Vivo released the revolutionary Vivo NEX, the final version of the former Vivo’s APEX, which blew our minds back in CES 2018. The NEX came with a full bezel-less display and a pop-up selfie camera. The smartphone originally landed in India but was released in other markets a few time after. Now the handset is aiming Europe.
The rumor mile got accelerated today with news about Vivo NEX arrival in Europe. According to it, Vivo’s hottest flagship will hit the country boasting a whopping €849 price tag (~$966). When the device was originally released in China, it came with a nearly $570 price tag, with the most powerful variant costing $715. Even adding import fees and taxes, the amount of $966 is too high and rather inexplicable.
Gizchina News of the week
Worth noting that since the Vivo NEX 2 is probably coming soon, the source may be confusing the two smartphones, and giving the price of the upcoming dual-screen flagship to the former NEX smartphone. For now, we’ll need to wait for more news about it, but European consumers can finally expect the Vivo’s bezel-less glory arriving in the old kingdom shores.
