Poco F1 to be even more affordable as company announces discount in India

It has been almost three months since Xiaomi announced the release of Poco F1 and the company is ready to provide a hefty discount of Rs 5,000 between 4 to 6 of December in India. The availability of these discounts will be only credited from Mi.com or Flipkart. Plus, Flipkart will be hosting a flash sale event which is named as ‘Big Shopping Days’ from 4th to 6th of December.

On Monday, company announced the discount news through Poco India’s official Twitter account revealing that the phone can be availed from Mi.com and Flipkart during 6-4 December. Although the tweet did not reveals any further details regarding the discount but it is anticipated that it will come through a flash sale.

Recently Xiaomi has released the Android 9 Pie update on their several devices including Poco F1. The update brings the new MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM 8.11.15 and many features.

For the unaware, Xiaomi’s Poco F1 comes with a 6.18-inch full-HD+ (1080×2246 pixels) display. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and backed by 6GB and 8GB RAM options. The devices come preloaded with Android 8.1 Oreo which can be now updated to Android 9 Pie. Speaking of the device imaging department, the device sports a dual rear camera setup of 12MP + 5MP and at the front it carries an impressive 20-megapixel selfie shooter.

The Poco F1 comes in 6GB and 8GB RAM with internal storage options of 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB which can be expanded to 256GB via microSD card. The Poco F1 is fueled with a 4,000mAh battery that assists 18W charging and Quick Charge 3. Lastly, the phone’s connectivity options are 4G+, Bluetooth v5.0, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack.

    This is great news! Though the phone does not cover North American bands.

    Would you please update at what time the flash sale will happen? Also, if and when you get to know of it, what are the conditions for the 5000 INR off?
