In order to show the capabilities of 5G Qualcomm processors, Samsung has developed a smartphone prototype, which has a strange notch at the top right of the screen.
On the occasion of the presentation of the new Snapdragon 855, Qualcomm also unveiled its ambitions on the 5G. To do this, the equipment manufacturer used a Samsung smartphone prototype.

We knew the notches centered at the top of the screen. We have seen smartphone concepts with cameras shifted to the corners and integrated into a hole. The new Samsung’s smartphone prototype is even more original. A photos published on Twitter makes it possible to discover the prototype phone which comes with large border at the top of the screen and also a camera shifted to the top right for the selfies and a notch rather thick in this same part.

Of course, this is only a prototype and there is no indication that this type of design is actually in the pipes at Samsung. Recall, however, that the Snapdragon 855 used for the demonstration should equip the future Samsung Galaxy S10 in the United States during its expected release for Spring 2019. According to the latest rumors, the Galaxy S10 should not include a notch, but simply a double sensor on the front, integrated directly into a hole in the screen.
