Huawei is a manufacturer that is trying to introduce some innovations in their smartphones, focusing on less common solutions and among the upcoming news there would also be a model capable of taking 3D photos.
According to the latest rumors, the Chinese manufacturer could announce this smartphone in December and many believe it could be the Huawei nova 4.
Augmented reality is becoming increasingly popular in smartphones these days and the potential of this technology has already been shown in mobile games. In the future, phones capable of capturing 3D images will probably become common.
Gizchina News of the week
Huawei seems to have great plans for this smartphone and an example could be represented by the possibility of taking real objects and having them manipulated with the phone.
If you remember, last month a new application called 3D Live Maker was released for the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. It seemed quite similar to Sony’s 3D Creator application from last year but Bloomberg is reporting something different. The phone they are talking about is said to capture 3D images.
It is said that this smartphone, whose code name would be Princeton, will have a special function that will be called “3D Camera” and will give the user the possibility to “generate 3D models of themselves and the environment in real time”.
We hope to hear more soon.
