In the past few weeks, many reports had brought light the possibility that Samsung is planning to introduce a new Galaxy M series which will be an addition, or possibly replace, its budget lines including the Galaxy On and Galaxy J series.
According to a new report by 91Mobiles, in India Samsung plans to price the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 very competitively. Some sources suggest that the Galaxy M10 belongs to the budget segment as it may carry a price tag under Rs. 10,000 ($140) and Galaxy M20 ($210) is believed to cost around Rs 15,000 which could be a better specced affordable phone. On top of that, there is a speculation circulating that Samsung may sell these smartphones online because of the vigorous competition in these segments.

Apart from that, there are also few leaks revealing the specifications of the forthcoming devices. Both phones along with their model numbers Galaxy M10 (SM-M105F) and Galaxy M20 (SM-M205F) have been listed on GeekBench previously disclosing many interesting details. One leak reveals that Galaxy M20 might be featuring a dewdrop notch at front which could be the first for Samsung in 2018.
As per Geekbench, the Galaxy M10 which is an affordable phone is believed to be running on Exynos 7870 chipset backing up with a 3GB RAM and presumably 32GB internal storage. The phone will be coming up preloaded with Android 8.1 Oreo.
Speaking of Galaxy M20, on GeekBench the phone appears to be powered with Exynos 7885 chipset with 3GB of RAM, which will also come with Android 8.1 as pre-default. Apparently, AnTuTu reveals that the Galaxy M20 will carry a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and may come in a 4GB variant with a 32GB internal storage capacity.
