Stable Android 9 Pie rolls out to Xiaomi Pocophone F1 in India

Last week, Xiaomi released a new update for the Pocophone F1 which brings 960fps super slow motion and other minor improvements. Now, there is confirmation that the stable version of Android 9 Pie update has started rolling out to units of this smartphone in India. This is an OTA update so all units may not get it at the same time. If you are in India and this update has not arrived, its best to be a bit patient. For those using this device outside India, the update is most-likely on its way.

As expected from a major update, this update weighs 1.7GB and it is designated  MIUI 10.1.3.0 (PEJMIFI). According to the changelog, the update brings a couple of fixes and it has most of the features of Android 9 Pie. Well, it is very common for stable new updates to come with a few bugs of its own.

A user complained that he couldn’t run a game in full-screen mode after updating to the Android 9 Pie. The company swiftly replied “…Please share the feedback on the feedback app and our developers will look into it”.
