The 5G network support is the hot topic of recent days and the phone makers are trying badly to come with their own announcement of the next 5G phone. And Ulefone of course doesn’t want to stay behind in such activities, so they today announced through a short explosive Youtobe video the new Ulefone Armor 6 as the world’s first rugged 5G phone.
The 5G will be realized using the plug-in M70 baseband chip, which is fresh new 5G baseband chipset released by Mediatek on December 6th. And the Ulefone Armor 6 itself will be the classical rugged Ulefone device sporting solid specs like the Helio P60 processor with first gen AI chip, 6 GB RAM, 128 GB of internal storage, 21MP+13MP dual rear cameras, 13MP selfie cam, 6,2-inch notched screen and 5000 mAh battery capacity.
Gizchina News of the week
The actual release of the Ulefone Armor 6 is not that far away, because it’s penciled in for a January launch. But there is a twist to it, because it will be first only the 4G version and the 5G version will begin network testing in Q2 2019 in cooperation with China Mobile. So still quite a long way to go. More information will be surely released on the official website soon.
