Samsung mobile is surely but slowly working on what could turn out to be the World’s first truly foldable phone – the Galaxy Fold. Leaks and rumors aside, the Korean giant itself briefly demoed the device Infinity Flex screen design, and through that, we got to know that the device will be flaunting a large screen on the inside and a smaller one on the outside.

While that’s about everything the tech giant has revealed about the phone so far, a new report from out of Korea appears to have revealed a few details about Samsungs upcoming foldable device, and how it thinks the foldable Smartphone industry will evolve in the near future.

As per a report obtained very letsgodigital, the Galaxy foldable Smartphone will be hitting the shelves packing a huge 6000mAh battery, though not as a single cell, but one that will include two batteries in two parts of its chassis. The report further noted that allegedly named Galaxy fold will use Samsungs in-house Exynos 9820 and Snapdragon 855, paired with 8GB of RAM 128GB of storage. The handset is expected to feature a dual 12-megapixel main camera as well as an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The claim of a dual camera. Away from Samsungs foldable device, the report says that foldable devices could bring new growth to the mobile market, with shipments expected to increase significantly in the coming years. Specifically, it notes that up to 4 million units of foldable phones could be pushed to the shelves in the coming year, with Samsung accounting for about 1 million units of the upcoming galaxy Fold.

Sadly, but expectedly, the market will be a quite expensive one, but that might be irrelevant to some buyers, as the foldable tech would have completely eliminated the need for Smartphones and tablets. It is still unclear when Samsung when Samsungs foldable smartphone will be presented next year, however, reports claim it could arrive as early as March 2019 for as much as $2500.
