This afternoon, Lenovo held a new product launch conference at its Beijing’s global headquarters, where it officially released the much speculated Lenovo Z5s. The company repeatedly teased this smartphone to be better than the Xiaomi Mi 8. Chang Cheng said that the Z5s is Lenovo’s first Android 9 Pie mobile phone (ZUI10). The system comes with a full-screen design, unlimited storage cloud service, support for 4D U-Touch gestures, smooth non-calendar 5.0, U health platform. The company also promised that the Lenovo Z5s system will be updated regularly and monthly.
Lenovo Z5s uses a 6.3-inch microporous drop screen with a display resolution of 2340 x 1080 and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It uses a high-intensity middle frame designed with aerospace aluminum material. The body design employs the time-consuming CNC laser process which makes it corrosion resistance.
As for the main configuration, Lenovo announced that the Lenovo Z5s is powered by the Snapdragon 710 AIE Turbo processor which is equipped with a Game Turbo engine. In the camera department, this smartphone comes with a triple 16MP+8MP+5MP cameras with a F/1.8 large aperture. Its lights are kept on by a 3300mAh battery which supports 18W safe fast charge and it also supports high-precision gyroscopes and multi-dimensional network acceleration.

In addition, Lenovo Z5s also uses a nano-scale holographic stereo rainbow coating process. It is equipped with a 2.5D Corning Gorilla glass back cover, and a built-in catheter-type hidden earpiece (80 mW high power, speaker handset combo). It retains the 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C interface.
The Lenovo Z5s currently offers three stylish colors: Star Gray, Titanium Blue, and Coral Orange. In terms of price, Lenovo Z5s 4GB+64GB version sells for 1398 yuan ($203), 6GB+64GB sells for 1598 yuan ($232) while the 6GB+128GB sells for 1898 yuan ($275).
The reservation for this smartphone commenced today and the first outright sale will hold on December 24th. In addition, the Lenovo Z5s also launched a custom version which will be on pre-sale on December 19. This version comes with a 1998 Yuan ($290) price tag and there are only 4,160 units worldwide.
