The Xiaomi smartphone that had earlier been spotted on the US FCC website has now received further approval from Singapore’s IMDA, and Russia’s EEC.
While the FCC and ECC only listed the device with its model number M1903C3GG , its appearance on Singapore’s IMDA website suggests it could hot the market as the Xiaomi Redmi Go, and that co-incidentally means the device when launched could be the brands first smartphone to boot Google’s light version of Android that has been designed to work on devices with 1GB or less of RAM.

As per the listing on FCC, the Redmi Go will come with dimensions 141 x 71 mm leading to the assumption that it could come with a display size as huge as 6.0inch, and possibly with a 1440 x 720 (HD+) resolution. It is tipped to come with dual-SIM support, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, while the recent listing says it will boot Android 9 Pie (Go Edition) out of the box.
Xiaomi has got so many unannounced devices that have been making the rounds, so we are not certain when the so-called Xiaomi Redmi Go will see the light of the day.
