Realme U1 deal just got sweeter in India by Rs 1,500


In the previous month, Realme had launched Realme U1 and now the company has provided an exclusive discount in India for the handset. The announcement came through a tweet on Thursday. The HDFC Bank debit and credit card users can avail Realme U1 3GB variant at a discount of Rs. 1,500 on Amazon India starting from Dec 21 to Jan 2. Of course, EMI transactions are also included in the offers.

Realme has priced U1 – 3GB RAM variant at Rs. 11,999 ($172) while 4GB RAM variant can be bought at Rs 14,499 ($214). The U1 was initially launched in 4GB RAM variant with 64GB internal memory, the offers are also applicable to the 4GB variant and it will start at a different date of December 26, 12 PM onwards.

Realme U1 specifications

The Realme U1 is equipped with a 6.3 inch long full HD+ display with a resolution of (1080×2340 pixels) and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The handset is powered by the world’s first octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC which is backed with an optional 3GB/4GB RAM with an internal memory of 32GB/64GB, respectively.

Coming to the imaging department, the handset sports a dual rear camera of 13MP + 2MP sensor and it carries an immersive 25MP front-facing selfie camera. The phone is juiced with a decent 3,500mAh battery. The connectivity option of the phone includes Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS/ GLONASS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, micro-USB and OTG support.

    Realme does not allow bootloader unlocking to install custom ROMs. Folks, please be aware before buying.
