Huawei Honor sub-brand will be unveiling the sequel to the Honor V10 in a few days from now. The device much like every other one has been the subjects of rumours, with the most recent been that the firm will on the same date reveal a special edition Honor V10 dubbed Honor V20 Maserati edition.
While we had earlier believed the device will come in two storage version with 6GB RAM, a recent Geekbench listing and now the AnTuTu listing of the Honor V20 (PCT-AL10 model number) has revealed the upcoming device will get an additional variant with 8GB RAM AND 256 GB of internal storage.
Our guess is that this 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version is the rumoured Honor V20 Maserati edition. Other details revealed by the AnTuTu are quite in line with previously leaked ones including Android 9.0 Pie, and Kirin 980 SoC.
Gizchina News of the week
The Honor V20 AnTuTu benchmark shows that the phone performed quite admirably, with a score of 274,343 points. That’s quite below Mate 20, which scored 307,059, even though both use the same SoC.
Though not yet official, reports have it that the Honor V20 with 64 GB and 128 GB storage will attract a price tag of 2,799 Yuan (~$435) and 3,299 Yuan (~$478) in that order, while the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant could sell for as much as 3,799 Yuan (~$550).
A 48MP rear camera, with a Sony IMX586 sensor, and a 25MP front camera, 4000mAh battery, NINE liquid cooling technology, and a punchole camera are expected to be the key selling points of the device. The rest of the specs, as well as official pricing, will be revealed on December 26th when it is expected to be unwrapped at an event in China, before heading to France later on January 22 where it will get a global launch as the Honor VIew 20.
