Huawei portable photo printer rivals Xiaomi, crowdfunded for 499 Yuan ($72)


Chinese manufacturing giants, Huawei and Xiaomi suddenly found interest in the portable photo printers simultaneously. After Xiaomi released its new generation portable printer a few days ago, Huawei has now released its version and the interesting part of this product is that it comes with the same price tag as its Xiaomi counterpart.

Huawei’s portable photo printer was announced at the recent nova 4 new product launch conference. The compact body of this printer makes it look more like a power bank. The Huawei’s portable printer workability is based on Zink inkless printing technology and Bluetooth connection. It has a transmission speed of about 10 seconds, and the printing time is about 1 minute. This device supports Huawei Share one-click printing and there no need to install the APP.

Furthermore, this printer has a 10 carton capacity to affix photo paper and it can print a small size (one inch) image as well as other image size specifications depending on the user. Huawei portable printer also supports DIY business card printing and it has a variety of templates. Interestingly, it supports AR photos, just print out the video keyframes and scan the photos to play AR videos. The battery capacity is 500 mAh and you can print 23 photos at a time. Huawei portable photo printer original price of 599 yuan, but it currently has a crowdfunding price of 499 yuan including 10 sheets of photo paper.
