Galaxy A10 could be first in-screen fingerprint reader phone from Samsung

While in-screen fingerprint readers have been on the rise this season, it’s a bit of a pain to seem them fall short of the lofty high standards their predecessors have set in mobile phones. That’s why Samsung’s ultrasonic fingerprint reader is being awaited impatiently.

And it seems we could see it first in an A-series smartphone called Galaxy A10.
As per some industry sources cited by PhoneArena, Samsung will release their first in-display fingerprint reader smartphone with the Galaxy A10. Obviously, the Korean giant has withheld temptation to use an optical sensor up till now and this would be the first device to sport an in-screen sensor. Aside from this new info, the Galaxy A10 is a rogue device right now.

However, the source had previously also revealed that Samsung would be announcing a Snapdragon 845-powered Galaxy A series handset and the Galaxy A10 could very well be the same device. That’s because the Galaxy A8s sports the new Snapdragon 710. However, this is mere speculation. All else including the launch of the Galaxy A10 is still a mystery but if we were to predict, we expect a release of the device next month, probably in the same time frame as the new Galaxy M series.
