The file with the ROM has already been uploaded to the Network, it weighs 1.7 GB and has the Google applications and the pre-installed Google Play Services, as well as the ability to start Google Assistant via the AI button and the Italian language.

A couple of days after that, the MIUI 398th week update announcement shows that the latest MIUI development version 8.12.6 adds the custom watermark feature (Shot on Mi MIX 3) which appears at the bottom left of images taken with the rear camera. In addition, it also adds a new feature which reminds the user when the lens is dirty.
