Well, this isn’t really coming as a surprise to most of us, as the company is known for venturing into anything possible. The Chinese consumer electronics company has announced an Android web browser dubbed Xiaomi Mint browser. The browser which seems like a direct take on Googles Chrome browser has now been uploaded to the Play stores and available for free download.
The Mint browser is lightweight, weighing in at about 12MB, and promises whirlwind launch speed. The browser highlights various features such as the integrated voice search which allows you to search and navigate the browser via voice tag, the data saver similar to Operas data mode for those on limited plans, Private browsing mode as well as a reading mode that reduces eye-strain during night-time browsing by turning browser elements and web pages dark.
