Huawei’s Y range of pocket-friendly smartphones could be getting a new entrant soon, at least for the EU market. Like we reported a while ago, the company is apparently preparing a new model of the Y series of smartphones for the EU market, and while we were only privy to a few details about the device that will arrive as the Huawei Y7 2019, we now have a new leak that gives us a pretty good idea of what the device could bring to the table.
Aside from its basic details, the new leak also has an image of the device, and as we can see below, will come with a premium look complete with gradient back fitted with a dual camera setting, while the notch on the front will be home to a selfie camera. Unfortunately, the leak images don’t confirm whether there will be a rear fingerprint scanner or not, but there is no doubt it won’t get the in-display fingerprint treatment, given the price level it will fit into.
Gizchina News of the week
Leaked by notable tipster Roland QuandtQuandt, Huawei Y7 2019 is seen parading a slim design fitted with a 6.26-inch display with a waterdrop-shaped screen notch and thin-but-visible bezels. The display resolution according to Roland is an HD+ resolution, while it is tipped to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
A major highlight of the device is its large 4000mAh battery, but there isn’t any mention of quick or fast charging. The leak further reveals details such as a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and an impressive 16MP front camera.
We are not certain when the device will arrive, and at what price, so we advise you keep a tab on us at Gizchina.
