The Moto G6 smartphones could be getting refreshed soon. And while Motorola hasn’t given a specific launch date for the devices that could be taking over from the Moto G6 line up, the firm has instead chosen to breath more life into the G6 series, particularly the Moto G6 Plus.
According to the Indian support page for the Moto G6 Plus, users of the device are currently receiving OTA update notifications that bring the December security patch, while also updating the device to the latest Android 9.0 Pie. While the exact size isn’t known, the Android 9 Pie on the G6 Plus will bring the usual adaptive battery, adaptive brightness, security enhancements, and various changes system-wide to UI elements.
