Once a sub-brand of OPPO electronics, Realme in the earlier part of 2018 parted way to become a standalone and Independent company and has since churned out some interesting smartphones. Less than a year since it became a stand-alone entity, the brand has today announced that it made a giant stride in terms of sales in markets where it operates.
The company revealed earlier today that it sold 4 million units of its smartphones, which appears to be a great record, given that it is a relatively new firm.
A great start to the New Year, we are happy to announce that the Realme Family is now 4 million strong! Thank You for your love. We wish we grow bigger and better in 2019. Say Yo 😀 pic.twitter.com/dsDWbqGctP

The details regarding the record-breaking sale were revealed via the firm’s Twitter page where the company also dropped a subtle hint that could mean it might be unveiling a new smartphone in no distant time.
The tweet has the tag “ready to celebrate”, and for those that could read in between the line might be a subtle teaser of an upcoming device – most likely the RealMe A1.
