Xiaomi will be making a special announcement tomorrow morning

A teaser image sort of, purportedly released by Xiaomi and that is presently making the rounds says the company looks set to get started with the new Year 2019. The teaser image seen below says Xiaomi at about 10AM on January 3rd will announce something important.

The poster has Xiaomi’s Classic Slogan “Forever believe that good things are about to happen.” So it is very apparent something significant will be taking place tomorrow, but what? you might think it is a new product launch, but there are speculations the Chinese firm might actually be announcing a specific time for its next product event.

Back in the early days of December 2018, Xiaomi president Lin Bin teased a sneak peek at one of its unannounced phones with a supposed 48MP camera. Without providing more details, Mr. Lin said the device will be released in January. And since the company is yet to confirm when the phone will launch, this could prove to be the important announcement that the firm will be making tomorrow.

Hopefully it will be the Mix 3 with snapdragon 855 and without 5G. But it probably won’t be that exciting.

Xiaomi has been nothing but disappontments. I bought my first AND last one Redmi 5+. Along with it, I bought a pair of headphones, some charging cables and a power bank, all from an official MI home store. All except the headphones kept breaking. I exchanged them several times within the warranty period. The main thing is the phone, of course. In the beginning, it was ok. Then it started shutting out of programs, lagging during different applications, even when using high speed Wifi. Even when running its built-in programs, like the Optimizer, it would stall and I would have to shut the phone down and reboot to have it running again. When typing, I often get numbers instead of letters (using Google keyboard). it goes on and on…

  I owned and stil am 6 Xiaomi products, never had any problems, especially the one you mention.
  Ps: I had the redmi 5 plus as well, very good performer for the price, amazing phone, still 0 issues.
