Samsung’s new unreleased Galaxy M series has been in the news a lot lately and it is expected to debut sometime this month, although Samsung has remained tight-lipped about it. A great deal about the Galaxy M10, M20 has been known and now it’s turn for the Galaxy M30 to be on primetime. A German publication has exclusively reported some of the specifications of the upcoming Galaxy M30 today after the handset appeared on Geekbench a few days back.

As mentioned by the source, the Galaxy M30 also sports a huge 5,000mAh battery similar to the M20. If this turns out to be true, then it would mean Samsung is taking notes from manufacturers like Asus which has been able to carve a place for itself in the ultra-competitive budget smartphone segment in India within two years. Continuing further, the Galaxy M30 will rock a big 6.38-inch display, and as per rumours will also boast the first Infinity-U display from Samsung.
The display resolution is 2220 x1080 pixels (FHD) and there are three cameras on the rear – 13MP, 5MP and 5MP and a single 16MP shooter sits on the front. The leak describes the dimensions of the handset to be 159 x 75.1 mm and thickness around 8.4 mm.
There’s still no info about the processor but the previous Geekbench hinted that it could be the Exynos 7885 chipset.
