Galaxy S10 Lite likely to rock same processor as its bigger siblings

While there’s a bit of uncertainty surrounding the exact number of models that the Galaxy S10 series will have this year, there’s no confusion that there will be a Galaxy S10 Lite. After many years, Samsung will be adding an entry-level model to its flagship series for budget-minded folk after a long time. And a new post by a well-known tipster has revealed that it could come with the same processor as its bigger siblings.

Gizchina News of the week

As per a tweet by @IceUniverse, the Galaxy S10 Lite will boast either the Snapdragon 855 or the Exynos 9820 chipset which is good to hear. At first, this might seem obvious but Samsung could have opted for a lower-end processor looking at the history of the Lite series. However, the recent couple of years have seen intense competition in the budget segment and Samsung seems to have judged this as the best possible route to take, at least that’s what the leak says for now.

Besides the processor, the battery size of the Galaxy S10 Lite was leaked earlier and it is believed to be an underwhelming 3100mAh capacity. At least this means the Galaxy S10 will have a somewhat bigger battery than its predecessor.
