Xiaomi recently revealed it’s Mijia Smart Washing Machine on December 27 in China. The 10Kg all in one washing and drying machine comes at a price of 1,999 Yuan or ($291). The smart appliance isn’t yet available outside of China but it seems Xiaomi could bring the device to global shores soon.

A tweet be Donovan Sung, Global Spokesperson of Xiaomi today asked followers on the platform – “Should we launch this in our global markets?”. Many followers including some Indian bloggers in reply urged the executive to make it a reality. Xiaomi is currently in the process of expanding to the offline segment in countries like India and it would make sense to include products other than smartphones to showcase in its retail stores. At the moment the Mijia Smart Washing Machine is not confirmed to arrive but when it does, India could be the very first one to have it.
The Mijia Smart Washing machine recently went on sale and was sold out in just a few minutes in China. It comes with an industry-leading BLDC variable frequency motor that ensures a stable, efficient, energy-saving and quiet washing process. The max dehydration speed is up to 1400 rpm. The Mijia Washing Machine also has a drying system that can dry multiple clothes at the same time and also features temperature control.
