HP Chromebook 14 is world’s first to come with AMD CPU, release this month for $269

CES 2019 has kickstarted, and with it, a flood of new product launches has begun today. HP has showcased the first Chromebook with an AMD processor with the latest version of the Chromebook 14. Price starts from $269 but this is for the base model and the touch-screen version will cost $30 more. The HP Chromebook 14 will release later this month in colors like now White, Charcoal Gray, and Ink Blue.

HP will be offering the Chromebook 14 in two CPU options – AMD A4 or A6 processor, backed by an integrated AMD Radeon R4 or R5 graphics chip respectively. There will be two options for display resolutions as well – 1366×768 (no touch) and 1920×1080 (touchscreen). The Chromebook sports 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage expandable via MicroSD.

Its battery life is rated up to 9 hours and the laptop also has dual speakers, abasic front-facing camera, Bluetooth and 802.11a/b/g/ac WiFi as well.
