Budget Honor 10 Lite with Kirin 710 SoC set for Indian debut on January 15


Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is one of the most active ones when it comes to smartphone launches. The brand has had a very active 2018 and has already kicked off 2019 with a couple of launches. The Honor 10 Lite is set for an Indian debut on January 15, the company has declared through its invites today. The handset was originally introduced in China in November.

The Honor 10 Lite comes in 4GB/6GB versions with 64GB of storage priced at 1399 Yuan (Rs 14,370, $205 approx), 1699 Yuan (Rs 17,450, $250 approx.) respectively. There’s a 6GB + 128GB version as well with 1,899 Yuan too that costs 1,899 Yuan (Rs 19,500, $280 approx.).

The key highlights of the device are a  6.21-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ with the water-drop notch design, the new Kirin 710 SoC, and Android Pie. 

It rocks two cameras at the back with a composition of 13MP (f/1.8 aperture) + 2MP and a single 24MP front camera. The latest handset from Honor will be a Flipkart exclusive. 

The brand is also expected to launch the Honor 8A in China today. This is a low-end mid-range handset that also boasts Android Pie but is fitted with a much more timid MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765) SoC, and a a 6.09-inch HD+ (720×1560 pixels) TFT IPS display.
