While top Chinese phone makers like ZTE and Huawei have their eyes fixed on overseas markets as competition in China heats up, Xiaomi, VIVO and a few others are jostling for market shares in Europe given that bilateral trade relations aren’t getting better.
The UK is a major market in the continent hence the recent moves by OEMs to penetrate the market. Aside from Xiaomi, Oppo has today announced its intention to officially register its presence in the country.
In readiness for Oppo’s arrival in the country, the firm has created an official UK Twitter account and using its first post, the company announced its official arrival in the country. Aside from the firm’s local Twitter account, there is also now a new OPPO UK website which we believe will go live on the launch day.
We are not sure what devices that will be coming to the UK, however, recent devices like the Oppo Find X could be one of the first devices to land in the country.
