Redmi targets 1 million units this month for the Redmi Note 7


Today, the official Weibo handle of Redmi previewed the Redmi Note 7 which is scheduled to go on sale tomorrow. Some netizens asked Redmi’s product director, Wang Teng, if there will be sufficient units. He said, “There should be 1 million units in January, and it will not be difficult to sell.” The Redmi Note 7 comes in three options which include the 3GB+3GB version priced at 999 yuan ($148), the 4GB+64GB version which sells for 1199 yuan ($176), and the 6GB+64GB version which comes with a 1399 yuan ($206). The company provides this device in three colours which include Twilight Gold, Dream Blue, and Bright Black.Lei Jun, founder, and CEO of Xiaomi Technology said that Redmi Note 7 is the new generation of cost-effective smartphones. This smartphone comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and Lei Jun said that the fifth-generation Gorilla Glass used by Redmi Note 7 is a product that supports its budget plan. According to Corning, its fifth-generation Gorilla Glass is four times more affordable than competing glass, and it retains the damaging properties, optical clarity, and touch sensitivity of Gorilla Glass.

    Hhmmm, come up with a global Redmi Pad please. The Mi Pad 4 was pretty awesome when I had a hands-on time with it but I’m holding back from purchasing one because I have to buy it from grey market and runs on chinese rom out of the box 😑
