After taking a trip around the Philippines and Pakistan, Chinese based phone makers VIVO has now announced the VIVO Y91 budget smartphone in India. The device is available via official Vivo India e-shop at an introductory Rs. 10,990/ $155, after which it will be sold at Rs. 11,990 (~$169). At that price point, the VIVO Y91 is seemingly aimed at the likes of Redmi 6 Pro and other similarly specced phones.
The VIVO Y91 is immediately available for sale in Starry Black and Ocean Blue on Amazon India story, PayTM, Vivo India E-store and also across all offline partner outlets.

Perhaps a major selling point of the device, the VIVO Y91 flaunts a 6.22-inch Halo FullView Display with a bezel-less screen, massive 4030 mAh battery, and dual rear camera setup. Under the hood, the device gets the octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC paired with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 2GB RAM, and 32GB storage expandable up to 256GB.
Other noteworthy specs and features include a 13-megapixel rear camera plus a secondary 2-megapixel camera for blur in portraits, as well as an 8-megapixel front camera with support for face unlock. The device boots Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with VIVOs own FunTouch OS.
