We seemingly now know that Xiaomis Redmi could announce the Pro variant of the Redmi Note 7 in the coming days. And despite not having a confirmed date yet, we have a specs leak that should fill in any gaps – assuming it’s accurate before we can begin to hunt for more official spec sheet.
The leak shared by a Weibo user claims that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will be one of the first few to come packed pack SD675 SoC. This will be in addition to the 48MP Sony IMX586 instead of Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor that featured on the Redmi Note 7.
Gizchina News of the week
The Snapdragon 675 chipset is said to be much powerful than even the Snapdragon 710 but will include a slower GPU, less capable ISP, and cost-effective 11nm to keep the device within the affordable price range.
Aside from the key specs, the source also says the Redmi Note 7 Pro is expected to come with a price tag that ranges from CNY 1,399 – 1,499, which translates to Rs 14,600 – 15,700. Other details including the pricing are yet to be confirmed, but there are speculations the device will launch later in February.
