LG Moblie might be weighing a different and somewhat unique option for its next flagship LG G8 ThinQ. The firm’s mobile division is struggling and would only require a change of strategy to get the thing back in shape, given that Samsung is doing same both to its mid-range and flagship segments.
The LG G8 ThinQ hasn’t been so frequent to the rumor mill unlike its rival Galaxy S10, however, reports suggest the device might debut at the MWC 2019. Ahead of that, a new report from Korea says the LG G8 ThinQ might come with a modified display.
Rather than rely on the large display with reduced bezels or a secondary display as seen in the LG-V series smartphones, the LG G8 ThinQ will go for a unique dual-display setup.

Unlike the ZTE axom M with a foldable display type, the G8 will have an optional display that can be added via a special case resulting to a design similar to the AXOM M. How that will be synchronized with the main phone remains a mystery, but we are told that the special case could potentially double the total screen size of the device.
While there is still limited information about the LG G8 Thinq, the source says the device will offer a large 7-inch display when the two displays are connected. It is also tipped to come with a new “Touchless” ui which will allow users to utilize the phone using only hand gestures.
