Earlier today, Xiaomi founder and CEO, Lei Jun, posted a poll on Weibo which was asking netizens of their preferred RAM and ROM options for the Redmi Note 7. This smartphone is currently available in 3GB+32GB, 4GB+64GB, and 6GB+64GB options but it appears that the company will add more options. At the same time, the 4GB+128GB version of this smartphone appeared on TENAA which means that this device will be arriving soon.
It must be noted that the “4GB+128GB was not the most popular version of Lei Jun’s poll as the “6GB+128GB” and “6GB+64GB” versions got higher votes. The “6GB+128” option has a vote rate of more than 50%. Lei Jun emphasized that “the result of voting will affect my judgment”, so it is not out of place to expect that the “4GB+128” version which just appeared on TENAA will be followed by a “6GB+128” variant.
