Huawei

Recently, Huawei’s CEO, Ren Zhengfei, granted an interview where he talked about the current situation of Huawei. Ren Zhengfei said that Huawei’s current problem is that the organization is bloated and overstaffed. There are too many management levels at present. He said that the company is currently under reform to address this issue. If Huawei can achieve success in organizational reforms, it will become more competitive.

Gizchina News of the week

Talking about his recent “frequent” interviews,  Ren Zhengfei said that Huawei is now in a crisis transition stage, and this must be understood by customers. We must let 180,000 employees understand us. This way, we can unite in the struggle so that we come out victorious. So if there is anything that our employees and customers deserve to know, we come out openly and tell them from the highest level of the company.

Ren Zhengfei stressed that Huawei’s revenue this year will increase by at least 20%. Every department is eager to try. I told them to report the plan and it should be a little lower or else the bonus plan will not be favorable for the department. Talking about Huawei’s ideal development, Ren Zhengfei said that for now, it should be a relatively lean operation. It would not be as bloated as it has been in recent years.
