Fitbit managed to build a solid presence in the past years and managed to turn things around in this “slowly-growing” segment with the launch of Ionic and Versa smartwatches. Now the company is aiming in a different type of market: The businesses. In order to compete there, the company unveiled today two new fitness trackers the Inspire and Inspire HR, only available for corporate customers.
Both fitness trackers are part of Fitbit Health Solution program and will be available exclusively through Fitbit corporate, wellness, health plan, and health systems partners and customers of their organizations, participants and members.
Gizchina News of the week
The Fitbit Inspire offers a range of health and fitness-related features like activity and sleep tracking, calories burned and reminders to move. The fitness tracker is swim-proof and offers up to 5 days of battery life. The fitness trackers also come with a neat intuitive touchscreen. The Inspire can be connected with your smartphone, informing you whenever a new call, text, or alert is arriving for you.
The Inspire HR includes all the features of the standard unit but also brings some additional features like heart rate monitor, cardio fitness levels, sleep stages, real-time pace and distance with phone GPS, and more than 15 distinct goal-based exercise modes.
One time that these fitness trackers are only available through its Fitbit Health Solutions program, there’s no price attached to these fitness trackers. Also, it’s unclear whether or not they will be made available to everyone at some point in the future.
