At its launch event on December 26 2018 in China, Huawei Honor did sprue up the regular Honor V20 with the unveiling of a limited edition Honor V20 Moschino Edition. While the regular Honor V20 has since been available for sale in China, the Honor V20 Moschino Edition made in partnership with Italian fashion brand has just been listed for sale in the country.
The Honor V20 Moschino Edition is currently listed on Vmall only in Phantom Red color with a price tag of 3,999 Yuan/ $590.
Gizchina News of the week
Albeit featuring a larger 256GB storage and some special themes, the Honor V20 Moschino Edition is largely the same as the regular Honor V20 – featuring a 6.4” LCD of 1080p resolution and an unusually tall ratio of 19.25:9. The device uses a conventional rear fingerprint sensor instead of the on-screen sensor that is fast becoming a commonplace.
The Honor V20 get a 4000mAh battery, the Kirin 980 SoC, and by far the most intriguing aspect of it is the presence of an on-screen punch-hole selfie camera – similar to the Nova 4 and Galaxy A8s, and a 48 MP Sony IMX586 rear shooter that’s joined by a 3D ToF sensor at the back.
The same device is billed to launch globally in France today but will ditch the Honor V20 for the Honor View 20. All specs and feature are expected to remain intact, but we are not sure if the Moschino Edition will make it out of China.
