We already know that Samsung is ditching its online exclusive Galaxy J series in favor of an upcoming Galaxy M series that will be debuting ‘in India later this month. We’ve heard a lot about the upcoming new Galaxy M series, ranging from a support page for the M20 to the premature review that surfaced earlier today, and now, Samsung appears to have revealed one more info about the upcoming Galaxy M20.

While it is already a known fact that the Galaxy M10, the M20 and other members of the Galaxy M series will boot Android 8 Oreo with the new out of the box, Samsung mobile in a release earlier today cleared the air on the status of the Galaxy M10 and M20 Android update.
Samsung says the yet to be announced Galaxy M10 and M20 will feel a taste of the new Android OS much later in August. That is, without doubt, a long time of waiting for a device billed to hit the stores this early in January.
While Samsung has been mostly resistant to the trendy iPhone Xlike notch, the appears to have fully decided to embrace the notch, as the GALAXY M20 and the entire Galaxy M series will adopt the Infinity V notched display. Early reports suggest Galaxy M10 will get an Exynos 7872 chipset with 2/3GB of RAM, while the M20 will make do with an Exynos 7885 with 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB storage. Both devices are set to officially unveiled on January 28 in India where they will be exclusive to Amazon.in.
