Honor 7X, the smartphone launched by the Chinese brand in 2017, has started receiving the first Android 9 Pie builds in beta. As usual, the update to Android 9 Pie also includes the EMUI 9.0 user interface.
The models of Honor 7X that, for the moment, are receiving the first beta version of Android 9 Pie are the Chinese ones. In particular, the models involved in this first update are: BND-AL00, BND-TL10 and BND-AL10. Each model mentioned received a different build of the update, as follows:
Gizchina News of the week

- BND-AL10C01E42R1P2B43-log (9.0.1.43)
Given the release of this first beta version, it is likely that it will not take long before the release of a stable version of Android 9 Pie for Honor 7X, both for devices sold in China, and for models in other countries. For the moment, however, neither Honor or Huawei have published an official statement about it.
It is worth to mention that Huawei P10 and Honor 9, the former top of the two Chinese brands, are starting to receive a new update to EMUI 9.0.1, based on Android 9 Pie, starting from China.
The software update in question includes a series of improvements and optimizations for the two smartphones.
