The Galaxy S10, the Nokia 9 PureView and a couple of other upcoming flagships are the talks of the town right now and are all due to go, official, in the coming month at the respective brand’s pre-MWC conference.
While the Nokia 9 PureView will get a global launch in Barcelona next month, the brand seems to be making way for the imminent arrival of the device in the Chinese market. Ahead of that, a Nokia branded phone with the model number TA-1094 and alleged to be the Nokia 9 has appeared on China’s 3C Certification Authority for the pre-requisite approval in China. As per the listing on 3C, the Nokia 9 PureView is expected to come off the box with an AD-18WC fast charger that supports 18W fast charging, which lines up with last years Nokia 8 Sirocco, even though other brands are fast adopting a much-improved fast-charging support option with up to 30watt fast-charging support.
Gizchina News of the week
Unfortunately, there’s nothing else that the listing revealed, however, there are indications that the Nokia 9 PureView won’t have all it requires to take on some other flagships that will spring up in the coming month. First, it is tipped to come with the dated SD 845 and not the SD 855. Recent renders show no sign of a rear fingerprint scanner, its more or less confirmed that the device will come with the in-display fingerprint sensor.
HMD Global has a press conference scheduled for 24 February, the day before MWC 2019 kicks off, so we would get first-hand about the Nokia 9 PureView information from the company.
