Huawei earlier last week took the wrap off three smartphones in Sri Lanka. The smartphones are all of the budget Y series of Huawei phones. Notably, the Huawei Y6 Pro (2019) is about the only fresh/new devices that have just launched, while the Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) and Huawei Y9 (2019) were both unveiled last year.
Gizchina News of the week
Perhaps the most notable selling point of the Huawei Y6 Pro (2019) is it new Dewdrop notch and textured leather finish at the back panel. It is available in Amber Brown and the Midnight Black color options and flaunts a 6.09-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) FullView display., with unknown SoC, 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage -expandable up to 256GB.
The Huawei Y6 Pro (2019) comes stuffed with a 3000mAh, has no means of authentication, except for the facial unlock feature. It houses a 13-megapixel rear shooter, an 8-megapixel front shooter fitted into the notch, while it boots Android Oreo and EMUI 8.2 out of the box.
Pricing, as well as availability in and outside of Sri Lanka, has been confirmed. But been a low-end device, we expect the Huawei pro 6(2019).
