Redmi Note 7 Pro could introduce a 6 + 128 GB version

Although there is still no precise date for the launch of Redmi Note 7 Pro, the Chinese company still seems to have some doubts about the different variants and turns once again to its users through its official page on Weibo.

The CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, also involved Redmi’s president, Lu Weibing, asking what were the expectations for Redmi Note 7 Pro. One user asked that the 3 + 32 GB version, now considered completely obsolete, should be removed and asked for one or more variants with 6 GB of RAM instead.

Gizchina News of the week

A new post by Lei Jun suggests the possibility that Redmi Note 7 Pro can reach the market in versions with 6 + 64 GB and 6 + 128 GB, leaving in all probability the 3 + 32 GB version. If confirmed the decision would only take note of the results of the survey launched in recent days by Lei Jun, who had seen the basic version in the last place in the order of preference.

Recall that Redmi Note 7 Pro will mount a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor instead of the Samsung 48-megapixel sensor used by Redmi Note 7 and that the Snapdragon 660 could also be replaced by a newer Snapdragon 675. We will know more, with each probability, towards the middle of February, when the Chinese New Year and the festivities linked to it will have passed.
