Xiaomi Redmi Go now on pre-order in the Philippines, priced at $75


Earlier this week, Xiaomi Redmi brand announced the Redmi Go Android Go smartphone, but never released the device’s rollout details across the countries. However, it appears Samsung is on the verge of releasing the device to more markets.

While it is yet to go on sale in India and China, Redmi has now released the Redmi Go Android device to those in the Philippines. The Redmi Go is available for pre-order on Lazada and costs only PHP3,990, or about $76/€66, while it is tipped to go on sale on February 3. You will be able to get the device from authorized Mi Stores in the Philippines from February 4, 2019.

The first 200 customers to pre-order will receive a pair of free earphones.

Available in Blue and black color option, the Redmi Go sports a compact 5” HD screen with three capacitive keys underneath while it is powered by the Snapdragon 425 SoC with 1GB RAM and 8GB of storage space. The device is based on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) OS that comes loaded with lightweight apps like Maps Go, Gmail Go, YouTube Go.
