The new CHUWI UBook 2-in-1 convertible crowdfunding campaign is successfully on the way for quite a while on Kickstarter, but today the makers decided to add a special Valentine’s Day gift. It comes in the form of a new stretch goal for the campaign, this one at $400k mark and considering the campaign is currently sitting at $307K it’s not that far off.

And the reward for reaching the $400k stretch goal is quite significant, because thez promised to unlock full-featured USB Type-C port on the tablet for it. Compared with ordinary USB-C, the full-function USB-C port supports the fast charging protocol of the USB-IF Association, and the charging power is greatly increased so that the charging time can be saved by more than half. It also supports the DisplayPort standard for connecting an external display and supports data transmission and peripheral expansion for connecting audio and wired network.
Adding the full-featured USB Type-C port would significantly upgrade the already great planned connectivity for the CHUWI UBook, so if you are a tablet enthusiast, then you should surely check it out. You can of course find all the detailed information about the product and the campaign itself on the Kickstarter page.
