Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, is flooding the tech world with information on the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 9. So far, there have been numerous confirmed specs of this smartphone and with three days to its official launch, it appears that there s still time for more verified information. Today alone, the company has revealed that the Mi 9 will come with “Game Turbo”, its on-screen fingerprint sensor will cost only $22, it will use a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and the sound quality will be top-notch. However, the company has just revealed information on the charging capacity for the first time.

According to leaked images of the Xiaomi Mi 9 box, this smartphone will support a 20W wireless fast charge which is higher than the 15W wireless fast charge used by the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Xiaomi’s new charging capacity has been verified by TUV Rheinland, the same body that verified the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.
As for the wired charging, a new Xiaomi device got 3C and TENAA certifications and it is almost certain that this is the Xiaomi Mi 9. The charger output specifications for this smartphone were 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/2.25A, that is, 27W maximum.
In addition, the Xiaomi Mi 9 uses a 6.39 inch AMOLED display from Samsung. It comes with the fifth-generation on-screen fingerprint sensor and it has a 3D full-curved glass body. This smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 SoC and it will be the first Xiaomi phone to use a triple rear camera set up. One of the rear cameras is a 48MP shooter from Sony.
