The crowdfunding campaign for the new CHUWI Ubook 2-in-1 convertible tablet is apparently going pretty well and the supporters already reached some stretch goals including the free keyboard dock, stylus and more. The next hurdle awaiting is the $350k mark and the makers will be unlocking a new boon there, the standard keyboqrd will be upgraded to an ultra-narrow bezel backlit keyboard instead. Check out the official website.
Compared with the original keyboard, the biggest change is the narrow bezel, which brings the increase of keycap and key spacing that have been reported to increase by 15% and 20%, respectively. The key process is about 10% higher than that of the original one, more comfortable typing experience.

Furthermore, the upgraded keyboard has also made significant improvements in material–skin-like dust-proof polycarbonate with bright surface spraying and elegant light grey color. Keyboard spindle and back cover are made of a whole piece of high-quality leather, high wear-resistant and it can ensure hundreds of thousands of opening/closing. In addition, the new keyboard also supports backlighting, allowing accurate input even in dark environments, further improving productivity.
So if the CHUWI Ubook is on your watchlist for the upcoming worthy tablets, then you should check out the Kickstarter crowdfunding page and maybe help reach the next big $350k stretch goal.
