Oppo recently introduced its 10x optical lossless zoom technology in China and the smartphone giant will also be showcasing a live demo of the same with a prototype at MWC 2019. The industry-first technology is expected to be a game-changer in mobile photography as it brings lossless zoom to a whole new level. Today, Oppo’s VP Brian Shen, surprisingly shared a live demo showing the 10x optical lossless zoom in action.

The official takes a 10x optical lossless zoom on the La Sagrada Familia (church in Spain, Barcelona) and you will definitely be impressed. Later, Oppo’s official Twitter account also shared the same video and it is really interesting footage to see.
The company will detail the process behind the 10x optical lossless zoom tech and detail its intricacies later this month when the stage is set on February 23. We also expect the new on-screen fingerprint reader developed by the company to be displayed in a prototype smartphone at the global tech show. Stay tuned as it will be an interesting two weeks for smartphone enthusiasts coming up starting tomorrow. The company is also expected to showcase a foldable phone at the event and probably a 5G device as well.
