The name of Samsung’s upcoming foldable smartphone has been embraced in some mystery since the first rumors pointing to its existence. It was first referred as Galaxy X, however, this particular branding was shot down last summer when an industry source claimed that the name of the device would be Galaxy F. Just recently, this particular branding has evolved to Galaxy Fold, without a clear confirmation. Now, the known tipster Evan Blass is claiming that the device will be, in fact, marketed as Samsung Galaxy Fold.
The Galaxy Fold should be teased again tomorrow alongside the Galaxy S10 trio of smartphones. Since the first rumors, it was described with a 7.3-inch flexible display that can be folded into a more manageable 4.8-inch variant. However, a recent patent and Samsung’s Galaxy Fold teaser may indicate that this may not be the case.
